what we believe
|
After training his disciples, Jesus instructed them to "go and make disciples of all nations" (Matt. 28.18-20). The Reformed Presbyterian Church is one of the many branches of Christ's church participating in that ongoing mission to bring the good news of Jesus Christ to all the nations.

Reformed
- The word reformed represents our commitment
to the Gospel, in all its fullness, as recovered and defended in the period known as "the Reformation."
4
Presbyterian- The word presbyterian indicates our adherence
to church government by elders. (The word presbyter means, "elder".) Based on Scriptures like Acts 15, we believe this is the Biblical model for church government.

Church
- The word church comes from an ancient Greek
phrase meaning, "House of the Lord" (keriakon doma). By this title, we confess our joyous participation in the worldwide family of Christ.
We have adopted the name Christ Church for this congregation to publicly profess the name of Christ as our Lord and King.
